Am I the only one who thinks it was hot out today?

No. Did field day today at Betsy Ross Grass Fed Beef near Taylor, TX. At least 97 in the shade. Had to bail about 2:00pm, couldn't take any more of the blast furnace treatment.

It's ALWAYS hot here but nothing like Houston! You're a better man than I to take the heat AND the humidity.

102° F in the Tallahassee area yesterday, and it isn't exactly a "dry kind of heat".

That's hot enough for me!

The dallas area has been nasty.

I have been trying to get a garage completed.
But I have been hanging it up around noon till 6 or so.

Cant take the heat, with the sun, and the welder in my face, the long sleves and the hood.

96 in STL, and the A/C in my SAAB quit...it is a hell of a lot cooler with the top down, even with the sun beating on me. The design of that damn car is such with the windows down and the top up, there's minimal airflow into the cabin. We've been getting heavy thunderstorms every night too, so it's nice and muggy.

Also a Houstonian - high today of 97, but we're supposed to be 101/102 by Wed/Thurs. Not much of a use for a black on black SL in this weather; good thing I've got others!

It was downright cool in So. Cal. yesterday.

We have a strong on-shore flow right now, with a heavy marine layer, making it overcast and cool, and misting from time to time. Don't think it ever got above 68 degrees.

Looks like more of the same today.

I was thru Houston Friday. Went down to get the Chevy 292 left from forum member Cell's "project GM Benz has begun" and also drag the 116 body back to DFW with a towbar, it was gettin hott-but wait til the end of August. Stopped off in Centerville/woody's smokehouse for $25 worth of Buffalo jerky on the way down and then got off at Huntsville and went thru the backroads and pine forrests to bellville and after gettin loaded and rigged, towed the car thru h town bout dark thirty.

It was 94 at night! 10:00 at night! What's up with that?
