When a bull gets his mind focused on something all feelings of pain seem to disappear.

I once came upon an accident where a fellow took down a fence. There were two bulls, one on each side of the road. The bull with the fence down meandered over to the other side of the road where the other bull was on the other side of a barbed wire fence. They started pushing each other with their heads and the barbed wire simply disappeared for them. They were stretching it back and forth like so many bungee cords.

An aroused bull is an awesome sight. ( I am not speaking of his member, just the anger managment part along with his awesome physical power)

If I were a cow I would be very apprehensive of one.

'course if I were a cow I would probably be wired up for that sort of thing.

So our bulls are either the rotated prize 3, or we lease them.

The thing that has always blown my mind is when we go to the stock shows and see those little kids leading around 1300+ lbs by the nose.
I can never get over a 4' 6" tall 10 year old 4-H or FFA girl leading around that size of animal as if it was a poodle on a leash.
I lead my son around by grabbing him by the nostrils so I can believe a bull can be easily led that way. My kid is a wrestler in the 172pound weight class and can bench 400#. I showed him he was not 'all that' by grabbing him by the nose (one finger in each nostril) and leading him around the house... I taught him that age and wisdom trump youth and strength every time

Whenever I get a chance to go to Spain, I always try to see a bullfight, or 'corrida' as its called there. It's a fascinating spectacle. These guys might be wearing velvet tights..., but the guts they have...

Yes, if done correctly they expose themselves to certain death at the time of the kill, the bull can simply toss his head and gore them in the groin where the blood vessel is so large they would bleed to death in seconds even today (as far as I know) thus the phrase "the moment of truth".

courage.
