Also have any pics of the interior? I am curious to see what this beast looks like on the inside. And have you considered slapping in a Cummins deisel in there?
Ihave considered the Chevy 6.5 diesel. I have seen P 30 chassis bread trucks with the 6.5 or 6.2 for around a grand that have everything needed.

run from them.even the 6.5 turbo will be a major disappointment.i have 2 of them in pickups and they are great for milage but hurting in the power department.if you really want to make more torque with less heat swap out the engine/trans for one from an early 70's olds with a 455.

The work Continues

I recieved the parts for the exhaust upgrade. I am very happy with the quality of the headers and flowmaster mufflers. I just hope the headers arent too much of a B to put on.

So I bought the Headman elite 14 gauge headers. A balance pipe, 2 Flowmaster 70 Big Block mufflers, and a heat sheild for the starter. The headers are factory thermal coated.

Update

I started the install work. The manifold come off the drivers side just fine. The passenger side, which is the one with all the room, I had 2 bolts snap off.
I have tried the blue wrench method, drilling, vice grip, nothing is working. 2 days invested going nowhere.

I do have the 2 mufflers on and the drivers side header.

The fit was excellent, no issues bolting it in at all. The directions stated that for some applications the engine may have to be unbolted and jacked up, but I had no such issues.

Next I need to get the angle on my H pipe bent up a bit more.
Then it will be back to the broken stud, so that I can connect the exhaust and wrap the job up.
