Hello out there. Did the title get your attention? That's what I am trying for here. I just completed a diesel conversion. My 89 white 420 SEL has been sitting in the lot for a couple of years with a broken engine at 137K miles. A really nice car inside and out. Lately I bought my rear ended donor, 85 300SD with 156K miles. Whitey's now inserted with 5 cyl 617. I had the Inj. Pump tuned up to max in order to carry the extra load. She runs great now and can expect to roll on indefinately!
I would appreciate any comments since I am going to sell Whitey or my 84 300SD. I really like the 89 now and would keep it over the 84. What do you think about this Conversion and will it be desirable or not. Will it be desirable to any of you in Shop Forum?
