That's the closest I could get them to look like Bundts, yes.

The 190E was very difficult to build primarily because it consisted of uneven number of studs. The rear portion is 9 studs wide, the front is 8. In order for me to make the two line up perfectly, I had to use half stud offsets. But in the end I got the hood to close properly. Only gripe I have is the grille. I wanted it to have the slats as in the other models, but the pieces only came in 1x2 flats. So a 3 wide grille would not work.

Inspired by the vehicles owned by DiametricalBenz, 79Mercy, and a few others I've seen on this board... here's the W115

Ahh lego's I used to build boats with them all the time. They are the best toy ever!

I loved Technic. I don't see the car I have from them anymore, it was their most complicated model when I bought it. 4 wheels steering, 4 wheel drive, V8 with a 5spd manual, and it all worked.

"The next set in the line is the 8880 "Super Car" introduced in 1994 that represents the top of traditional Technic building. This is the last car made of mostly studded bricks. It contains new bricks like the V8 engine or the chain in the engine drive. Apart from that it continued the traditions of its ancestors and sports more working features than any of them (and any of its successors). It had a complete four wheel drive with three differentials, plus it included a four wheel steering that is not quite typical on road cars either even today. Of course it did not miss any of the usual ingredients like front and rear suspension and the gearbox with 4 gears."

I remember that model, I built it in one day because I was new to the whole concept of building such a huge model. My big problem with that, is the car was not as "smooth" but then it was just a model not a real machine.

The older model actually had working seat adjustments, this one did not.
