How about no subsidies for children period? I do not have kids (by choice) and I do not get any $300 deductions. I pay for their education (isn't that enough?) with out regret because I hope that some of them will be educated and help this country at some time in their future. If you want to have kids, do it on your own dime.

I suspect that might be a bit extreme but I am a bit tired of seeing those who had children by choice get extra money back and I do not get anything back. OH well.
