getting a new car this weekend...
1985 Toyota Celica convertible, red, black top, gray cloth, 5 speed. High mileage but lots of recent work. Anybody know these cars? Any experience with them? I've had good luck with Toyota cars, but always boring Corolla and Camry sedans.

Interesting little car, 22RE but it's different from the truck one. Easy to add a turbo, many clutch upgrades and handling upgrades available.
Is yours a factory convertible or a conversion?

I'm reasonably sure that ASC did the conversion for Toyota on all of them that year, but don't quote me on that.
