TheDon I have asked before but don't remember your answer... is there a reason you are not doing freelance CAD work?
That way you would earn more, the hours would be flexible, your market would not be limited to Florida's bad economy, you would grow your existing skills, and be setting yourself up with prospective employers.

That makes sense but I don't agree with you giving up that easily. You have got to stop letting people tell you no. Knock down doors at builders, architects, designers and sell yourself into a job. Tell them you'll work free for a week and then discuss future arrangements.
Come on... anyone who can, without even trying, get a couple to give them a Mercedes convertible clearly is an amazing person with excellent potential for a successful and happy life. Stop letting people in your life and surroundings tell you no and stop playing by their rules designed to keep you down.

I think its time for a new job. It is unconsciable that they make you wax the floor naked!
![]() Seriously there have been a lot of good ideas floated here but with the economy like it is just hold on to any job you have until you have something better lined up. You have a wonderful mind and a great attitude so try to keep positive and good things will happen again. (I am still shaking my head over that cabrio deal!)
