Everything Should Taste Like Bacon

From the Makers of Baconnaise, Bacon Salt

It's a low sodium, zero calorie, zero fat, vegetarian and kosher seasoning that makes everything taste like bacon.

Don't forget, they have bacon flavored envelopes, too!

Give it a try and report back.

Until said report, I'm sticking with:
Anything that's low sodium, zero calorie, zero fat, vegetarian and kosher does not taste like bacon.

On their website, I located a local store that carries it. Bought Original flavor and Hickory. Taste test to come.

Oh yeah, I've had some of that. This girl I work with is pretty obsessed with everything bacon. It tastes probably like you'd expect. It compliments nicely bacon jelly beans, too.

Tried it tonight with shrimp. While you don't get a big greasy pork taste, it does deliver on that smoked flavor and some of that sweet. Primary ingredient is sea salt, with other spices. The closest description to the effect it gives food . . . it's like Bac-O-Bits, but without the nasty bits, just the flavor.

SWMBO is always nagging me to cut down on salt. This might be the key. Bacon Salt has 135mg sodium per quarter teaspoon, compared to about 600mg or more for the same amount of salt. According to the website, my local Fry's Marketplace has it. I'm on it....Amazon also has a good price on the 4 pack sampler.
