A Renntech 500E with about half those miles was for sale for a long time and its asking price was $60k. It sold, no idea what the sales price was, but the interior was a hideous blue custom leather.

That was the Hatch & Sons car; it was a low-mileage 500E with a 6-speed manual. I loved the interior on that car, and I'm usually against custom stuff.

I got a ride in a dark green W124 E60 AMG Barry Taylor was selling, some years ago, that thing would be the ULTIMATE W124.

It sounded like a Lingenfelder (sp) Corvette at idle, a total beast.

Much rather have it than a Renntech one.
