Thats awesome!!!!!! I bet he has some great stories!!

My dad knew a guy who worked as an engineer for Lockheed and worked on the skunkworks projects, he worked on the U2 and the SR-71. man that guy had great stories. sadly I was a kid when he was around and I couldn't tell any of them if I wanted to.

He did have some cool stories of that time. He also worked on the first lasers and holograms. I have an old 8mm movie given to him by NASA with details about the Apollo Project and a lot of animation of the proposed space ships (they looked nothing like the actual ones ) One day I will get it put on a DVD.

Unfortunately he died in 1993.

From Earth to the Moon? I have a copy of the memorial edition along with four other Verne novels in that set. Printed around 1905. Not what you had in mind I expect.
