Headin' up to Chicago tonight!!
I finally have succeded in finding a good swap for my VW. There's a dealer in Chicago (Fletcher Jones) that my family has done business with previously, and a great salesman, John Willis. I called him on a whim today after about a month of fruitless searching through the trailer scarred skoal worshiping wasteland in which I live for a suitable used Mercedes. Long story short I traded the Rabbit and some cash on a gorgeous '06 C280 4matic with 22,000 miles and one previous owner. It's black on black (First one EVER with heated seats!) auto, with blemish free paintwork, and a spotless service history.
I'll be up Bright and Early tomorrow folks to go collect my newest Favorite Thing Ever.  There will be pics.

I hope you got a CPO warranty to justify buying it from a dealership like that. The Fletcher Jones dealers I've been to are so gawdy that I can't imagine how much they have to mark up cars to cover the overhead.
My guess is they paid 14k for it, marked it up to 22k, and sold it to you for $18,995. Could be wrong, though. Gorgeous car nonetheless.

It's the nicest used car I've ever seen. Please don't say anything bad about Mercedes-Benz of Chicago because they aren't your typical dealership full of *******s. John even arranged for two nights at the Sherridan on Columbus street downtown for us. Plus it was nice to escape from this trailer strewn hell for a while and visit my hometown.

My brother ordered his '09 C63 from MB of Chicago. Had it shipped out to Seattle. A friend got his CLK blackseries there as well (He's local in Chicago). One the best MB dealers around.

You traded in a 2008 + $9000? They're making plenty of money. Trust me. At least they give the kind of top notch service to justify it.
What exactly was the sale price, and how much were they initially asking? *edit: I'm sorry if I'm prying too much. It really is a nice looking car.
