My condolences as well. He'll be missed. I am a few hours south of the Chicago area; not sure how helpful I might be in this location, but if I can assist in any way, give me a shout. If any of Kevin's games (or his car) sell to a buyer south of Chicago, perhaps I can help with storage or coordinating a meeting and pickup for the buyer(s)?

My condolences on your loss.
But on topic of your request, I usually look at cars.com for pricing - they cover dealerships and private parties that advertise in teh newspaper. in the Cincinnati area (I live in Anderson twp) it looks like 2008 E350's are going from $39k to $29k. The $29k one having only 45k miles on it. I have never been in the $30k car market, so I can't speak to your compeition (either a new 3-series or a 2008 E-class?) but your price of $29k seems fair for the car and mileage. You may be better off (if you just want to get rid of the thing) by selling it to a dealer - one of the guys on this board said that he knew some people at MB Cincinnati - I'd pull that string to get some kinda dealer value to work from. (I bought my 240D from the son of a MB corporate guy who lives on the eastside...the better side of Cincinnati Not sure how big a hurry you are in. Its definitley a buyer's market for cars as of the last few years. You might have to wait a while (even asking $29k obo) to sell your E-class at that price. My opinion - worth what you paid =) -John
