Time For My Annual Visit to CT! Let's Have a Throw Down!

It's time for my yearly conference in Mystic, CT. I'll be there from June 21-25. I"m actually staying in New London.

I'm thinking of driving either the Grease Car or Maserati.

I had dinner with Hattie and Fulcrum last year and really enjoyed it. Would like to see you guys again this year and possibly some others from here. Speak up and let's have a throw down!

Don't forget to stop by Cove Fish Market . Head to route 1 go east for a bit, its on the left (or use your gps to find it). Best road side seafood stand/market in the area.

Ewww...why would you want to spend so long in CT? Haha. Just kidding. There are good people in CT. It's a pretty small state....might as well be nice. Don't want to make enemies, otherwise you'll see them everywhere. Hahaha.

Also, how can you enjoy a dinner with fulcrum?

Drezzy, I don't think you know how good you have it living where you do.
(See how she treats me?)

Alright 21st through the 25th, set a date and time and i'll be there (And with a little....or rather a lot of luck Swampyankee might be able to make it this time)

Drezzy?? lol

Aww...I know. I do treat you very poorly. You don't deserve that. But that's how I am..."bite that hand that feeds you" And I do know how good I have it living where I do.

I'm, of course, kidding in my comment from earlier. Michael is a really nice guy to chill with. I'm the monster.

It'll take more than a little luck, I'm scheduled to be in Seattle for a conference that week (the same economist is speaking again). There is some talk about canceling it due to poor registration (so far only 8 attendees from 5 companies-of which we and one other southern New England company accounting for 4 attendees). It would actually cost the association more to cancel the conference than go ahead with drastically fewer in attendance than we planned for, the break even number was 13 and we were expecting 15. Board meeting conference call Mon or Tues so I'll have an idea by then.

I'm in, just let me know the location.

The spot Swamp suggested last time was pretty good.

The New London area still has an economy? You can probably get the best hotel room in town for $30 a night after the whole Pfizer scandal.
If Fred's Shanty is still out on Pequot Ave, they have some acceptable food there. There's also a really good Thai place on State Street just up from the station.

I've heard there is a pretty decent Pizza joint in Mystic. Some fat old Italian lady runs it, and hires naive local girls as waitresses.

Or, maybe that's just a fantasy.

Regardless, have a fun trip PP

I've yet to find a thread I couldn't take onto a completely unrelated tangent.

And of course, there's always

lol That's hilarious. Did you make that?? Hahah. And...seems he hasn't gotten to this thread. The poor guy can only get to so many threads a day. I constantly see people just WAITING for him. Give the guy some credit. It takes a while to think of a clever/funny/amusing sex comment. If it doesn't come off the top of your head, and you are forced...it's difficult! lol

I'd actually like to meet him. I can only imagine...real life aklim....haha
