It should be fine as long as it wasn't exposed to road salt or heavily off-roaded.

Unless he's already on a plane, he won't have a chance. It's also a topic on Expedition portal.

Oh, ok - I won't have a chance then... I'm mildly interested but not dying to get it...

haha oh I didn't realize it was in GA

Sadly when gray market G's show up on the market they don't like to be close to home base.

Few pics...

Got few photos from the owner - I asked for more pics: underneath, insides of the doors, axles, suspension components. Hopefully tomorrow or the next day...

Meanwhile here are few glimpses - I have to say it looks very clean.

It does look good. It won't last long at that price.

Quite so. That is by far the best Sub $10K G that i've ever seen. (I wonder how many miles it has?) It's rare to find an owner selling one for a realistic price.

Doubt if it's a diesel. That's a great deal, jump on it!

Joe - no, it's not a diesel... gas engine.

Seems like a good deal if the rust hasn't consumed it in all the wrong places... was wondering if anyone can comment on how these drive. Pickup, the power at takeoff - what the cruising speed feels like - say, around 65-70mph, does it feel like it's revving near the top of its range at that speed?!

I don't know that you could expect much more than 65 to 70 mph out of a 2.4 liter engine with that weight and profile

What ever happened to the Land Cruiser or Toyota 4-Runner?

In a word, slow. Once you get them up to speed they'll stay there but don't expect sedan performance, these trucks are very heavy.

I'm still looking... I just came across this MB accidentally when looking for an LC out of state. I'm still havn't found a deal that would make me pull the trigger. As always, the good vehicles command $$$$, the mediocre ones still cost $$$ and require haggling, and the cheap ones have been through he$$ and back and aren't worth a dang.

Just need to find the right price/value combination with proper aesthetics before I go for it - not in a hurry.

This was just an accidental find, but an interesting one.
