Map of gas prices

Glad I'm no longer a Californian! Gotta love regulation and the great things it does for society.

Paid off vehicle helps. 3.50 per, 90 a tank is discouraging my cruising.

CT is trying like heck to leapfrog over CA and HI with our gas taxes. We might just succeed.

Dont know where they get their info from but I'm paying way higher than they indicate for regular gas where I live.

The price of fuel is physically destroying me at the pump. It is out of control here in california.

I hope people start taking steps to curb their fuel usage.

It hits my farming relatives particularly hard.

If the states were not bankrupt they could lower the tax to help people out.

If by regulation you means taxes, then sure? What I don't get is why people complain about paying a quarter per gallon more. Just go out and buy a used compact that gets decent mileage, and if that ain't enough go balls out and modify it for fuel efficiency.

Not trying to put word in anyone's mouth but in Cali there are many different blends of gas, depending on the area. With all the switching the refineries must do for that one state is it really any wonder why fuel is that much higher?

The CA RFG only adds an extra nickel or so to the price of gas. Most of the difference is from an extra quarter per gallon in gas tax plus higher operating costs (everything costs more in CA).
