i am putting a projector hid lamp on my tractor the harness which comes from a c class has two wires one of which is obviously power the other ground the wire colors are yellow and brown does anyone know which is positive. thanks

Ground is typically brown or black wires. You could always just run a new wire and ground it to the chassis to be safe. If it doesn't work, switch the power wire to the other one.

Mercedes used brown colored insulation wire for ground.

Yellow is VW/Audi/MB standard for low beam headlight, brown for ground.
Don't projectors have ballast, though? Are the wires pre- or post- the ballast unit? Or is it integrated? |
