I learned just a few hours ago that my father passed away last night. It was unexpected; he was 78 years of age and the best man I ever met. I'm still in shock. He was caring for our mother (his wife of 50+ years) who had suffered a moderate stroke last fall.

Hopping a flight to Denver in a couple hours.
