Thanks for the advice and grins folks.

Was just a series of little annoyances compounded with a more-sore than usual back/hip/leg and some damned oppressive heat. Not having Darling Wife around (she's in CT with Chickie for a funeral) meant not having her goodness at hand to distract me from the grumpies.

Grumbled my way through tending to the zoo (contributors to the list of annoyances - some of the cats been projectile vomiting the past couple days) and the rest of the daily drudgery and snarled my way into bed.

Still hot as heck, back sore has led to shoulder sore, but my mood has improved

What? No neighborhood children to yell, "Get the hell off my lawn" at? Jim, you gotta cultivate some neighbors.

Shucks, ain't nothing like striking some fear into six year olds to really perk a feller up!

I don't know if that's a "that went without saying" or a given for the foul mood? Sorry to hear her absence is funeral related. Hope she gets home to you soon!

Get yourself in the bathtub and let the water from the faucet just "trickle" into it once it's full...set up your favorite beverage within arm's reach and relax...

And set an alarm. Yep, it's that relaxing!!!!

As I lay on the floor working on the washing machine in 90+ heat, I began thinking about your question today. Also considered the reason wife and Chickie were away. With all due respects to the departed, things for you could have been a lot worse. YOU could have been the guest of honor at that event. Now get up and get back to work!
Really, even in this heat, it ain't that bad. You will see your wife again soon. The departed will never again lay their eyes on their loved ones in this world. We should all be glad we are here to clean up after puking cats and washing machines.

OK --What you do is, If you have a storage lockup-start there. GET all your ***** out of there and toss everthing you dont absolutely need. get everthing else over to your house and-

say goodbye to that storage bill.

Then get everything else in a place that wont make the neighbors angry and Get Real about all the stuff you lied to yourself absolutely needing, if its worth dinero try selling it (if itd mercedes door panels and a rear seat--GO AHEAD and Chunk IT). now start going thru the house and get rid of the junk/clutter in there that you dont need.
I guarentee it will make you feel better.

reviving this thread

So, a google search brought me to this thread.......

Most of you know I'm going thru a Divorce. Wife and I have been working on a Permament Parenting Plan (PPP) since August 23rd when we last met in Mediation. She seems to not be in any hurry.....or maybe her attorney isn't. Anyway, I think all the language has been worked out between my wife and I ---- I signed it; my attorney signed it, and it was sent to her attorney on Monday of this week. My wife still hasn't signed it.

Wife seems to be dragging her feet.......no rush, etc.

What to do? My patience is wearing thin......

In addition, I submitted a rough draft of the Marriage Dissolution Agreement (MDA) to my attorney this morning. The plan is to send that over as soon as possible.

EDIT --- Maybe I need to clean out my storage. I cleaned up the garage a lot last week.

I always find that cleaning my clutter out is the best way of releasing frustration. That, and a drink+snack of choice to the tune of an inspiring tune. Do never underestimate the power of music!
