think of it this way, stopping to oh **** about the **** may have kept you from getting a safe dropped on your head, or the trip next door may have kept you from making a $1000 blunder in the shop. never question providence or good deeds.

Irony and punishment...

You have to laugh at the irony.

Thing One and his bride are moving to their new home on the west end of Galveston Island this weekend, and so too we have the first decent tropical depression (and real chance of rain for central TX in months). But that's not enough; three out of of six of the forecasting models have it making landfall near Galveston sometime over the weekend.

I'm helping them move...maybe I should take a boat too.
