One at near each wheel plus another in the engine bay I'd guess.

anyway, someone who has money to burn - for gas, obviously - would pay $8k? $10K? if it checked out well.

Yea I saw that and was wandering the same thing. I would prefer a 500SE, but I could go for this one.

Wow if this car came up 5 months from now I would probably not be able to restrain myself from bidding on it.

Sadly don't have a spare $7k or whatever its going to sell for kicking around at the moment.

Its exactly what I would want in my next W126, damn near perfect way to spec one out if you ask me. Only AMG could make a better one.

Of course I'd go through it and cherry out the body, looks like it has a few dents, and drop $5k+ underneath and under the hood making it perfect. Money Pit 2 would probably be an apt name. Also needs the badge back on the rear, don't love de badged W126's for some reason.

Oh and it neeeds some AMG Penta's, and a banging modern sound system.

The hydromenumaic suspension is way more impressive. It's a shame they didn't sell it here. Notice the rocker switch on the dash? That let's you set the suspension firmness!

Oh I just saw that with the suspension, so if you lower it a bit with the switch it would look just so perfect with AMG wheels.

Hattie needs to go break open his piggy bank...

Sadly I saw a euro w126 with the 4 corner hydromat suspension in a junkyard a few years ago. Colin was with me. He scored the fire extinguisher bracket and I scored the euro lamps. It also had front orth seats, reclining rear seats, etc. No computer or preheater or rear blind.

It would look banging with a set of AMG Penta's with polished lips and body matched centers. Very period and very nice. Throw on a nice tasteful set of Zimmerman drilled rotors behind them with powder coated hats, paint the calipers so they are pretty. Oh I'm getting to W126 heaven.

Ya it would be nice wouldn't it? I know the euro 5.0 moves very nicely, I can only imagine how well the high output 5.6 goes

That'd make sense. I had a tough time picturing where the 5th location would be.
