Comcast is synonymous around here with crappy customer service.

I finally ditched the land line and the TV packages a couple years ago and utilize a local cable company for internet.

I would check to see if there is a smaller, local service you can access.

That is one of the options I am looking at.
Even replacing it with a regional and cheap local ISP = 2/3 the cost of Comcast.

My thought is to get a cheap regional TRI state ISP bundle + cheap local internet ISP as backup.
