It’s good to be the Prince

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess, “Will you marry me?”

The Princess said, “No!!!”

And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and banged skinny long-legged big-titted broads and hunted and fished and raced cars and went to naked bars and dated women half his age and drank whiskey, beer and Captain Morgan and never heard *****ing and never paid child support or alimony and banged cheerleaders and kept his house and guns and ate spam and potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he was firkin cool as hell and he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up.

Then end.

If I may opine...

Marriage is a dead or dying institution. Man is becoming more and more less like the Victorian era view of 'civilized man' and more like the apes they thought they had grown so far apart from.

Rock on Prince. Dem hoes ai'nt 5hit

In some states....you are legally married after 7 living together even without a ceremony. Virginia is like that.

Called a common law marriage. With all the same negatives of a traditional marriage.

Haven't spoken to someone that I realized I loved, too late, in three years. Would do a lot to have a chance to speak to her again and maybe to share my life with her if things by some small chance do work out.

Happily married 25 years. No regrets. I waited till I was good and ready at 32. Marriage, or partnership, no need for a legal sanction, is the natural order in my opinion. Man is not meant to be alone.

Bot, you forgot the rest of the story. The poor f@ck died in agony, naked and alone. No children at his side. He was buried in a pauper's grave and nobody came to see him off. Nobody cared. End.

So what if you live together for 6 yrs, 9 months and then walk out. Come back a couple months later. Does the 7 year clock start all over again?

Probably up to a judge who may or may not be sympathetic.

yes. seems kind of selfish and immature. unable to relate on an intimate level with another human being. or even try.
