An interesting article, for the most part I think pretty accurate. However I think he's being too polite mentioning the word "morons" only once. I also think he's supposition about how things that are broken can be fixed by a coming together of the "middle" at the expense of the lunatic fringe is unduly optimistic. I'm beginning to suspect that America is too broken to be fixable. At least without major socio/politico/economic upheaval.
