Have you actually caught him with it yet? I have tried to use a large landing net to catch my rabbit when he got off the deck before and was afraid of slamming it down on his back and breaking his back.

What I ended up with was throwing a heavy blanket over him then jumping on the ground and wrapping him up in the blanket.

I did it so many times it got so if he was on my deck and I wanted him to go in his cage I just took something cloth out and sort of waved it around a little he would go straight to his cage and jump in.
