Agreed. There are better ways to make a safer car than filling it with explosives. See F1, IRL, NASCAR, etc for examples.

Eh, the very act of driving the car is statistically more dangerous.
Look like a ride to the dealership will be in order. I'll be sure to leave the wife home so she doesn't get an ideas with the new Odysseys.

It can get a bit annoying having to wear nomex, kevlar and being fitted with an anti-submarining five point harness to pick up the dry cleaning . . .
