Complete speculation on your part. What could you POSSIBLY know about jet engine manufacture?

I have a book about Rolls and it has a section on the development of the large jet engines. Don't remember exactly which engine, maybe for the 747, but it just about bankrupted the whole country.

Meh..........I know enough to get into trouble............

We're heavily involved with Pratt on the new NGPF engines. They have three of them going at the same time...........one for the Bombardier, one for the Mitsubishi MRJ, and the larger one for the Airbus A-320.

Here's a tool that we recently completed for the new GEnx engine on the 787:
The OD is 46" diameter. The top surface (where the engine components sit) is flat to within .001"
