confession on my birthday

I am 39 years from 100 today and feel more like the reversal of the numbers. Last week a friend gave me the computer game "Need for Speed! Porsche Unleashed" having never played a computer game before I thought Ho,Hum, I;ll give it a try, the next day I found myself in Fred Myers slinking around the Side Winder steering wheel display. Well got to run see if I can master the wimpy 914.....

William, Happy birthday!! Mine is on monday the 4th!!

Need for speed porsche is great. I higly recommend the logitech or microsoft wheels. they make a huge difference.

Runt he the factory driver mode, its fun.

When you do evolution. and have enough cash, buy used cars, fix them and sell them to make more money. It will help you to be able to upgrade the cars.

I was a member of an NFS Racing team called the repomen. The site is partially still up. http://repoyard.web.com at least I think its still there I hope.

Alon

My 2.0 liter modded 1973 914 on Porsche Unleashed is anything but slow...I've pushed it to nearly 130 mph on the back straightaway of "Monte Carlo Circuit 1", smoking a 16-valve 944S and a 911 2.4 liter.

But...once you get the 944 (951) Turbo, sink your money into modding that car. It's incredibly well balanced and fast, unlike all the tail-happy rear engined Porsches (AWD and AWD Twin Turbo excepted of course).

And one time, I hit nearly 190 on "Autobahn" in my modded 993 TT.

Gosh, I love P-Cars, even in a virtual world.

-Sam
