Heck yeah, and a winch, and a brush guard are mandatory as well. As is every inch of ground clearance I can get, and really bright lights for night ridding.

I don't know about the other brands but I want 4wd in reverse too, Polaris has the override switch for it.

The Polaris ATV's I was ridding had a 4x2 setting, but they might as well not have, can't think of a place to use it other than on a paved road once in awhile.

We go up and down hills where you have to lean forward and back to keep it from flipping. Plus some are covered in mud so you need WOT with AWD and good tires to climb out.

Usually the ATV's come back covered in mud so much that you can't tell what color they were, and all the plastic body work gets cracked up. So I want that bar they sell that runs along side the body for crashing into trees and such. Or flipping it which sometimes happens.

Winch yes. Not so sure about the brushguard thing. It will add weight which lowers the machine so consider that. It also might affect handling. I have ridden in the night but not sure how much more light you need. Maybe you need the "override kit" which can turn both sets of lights on at the same time. I think the reverse is limited and the override is to provide full power when reversing so you don't simply reverse into a creek. Not sure if that makes it clear for you.

Here is a place you can use it. All around. Why? Because I don't need 4X4 when the road is straight. I don't want 4X4 when I am on your lawn since that is hard on the grass. When I see a muddy section coming up, I can flip it to 4X4 mode and that works just fine.

Where we ride its pretty much 4x4 all the time, lets put it this way, you really need 4wd to even get to the cabin before the quads get off the trailer.

Problem with 4x2 is when you get on the throttle an its 8 degrees out and icy up an incline it gets very squarely, AWD helps but the rear still moves around.

Justin has a pic of the driveway, he can post it if he wants.
