Talking ** HOLIDAY MOVIE QUOTES THAT ARE A JOY TO RECALL!!! **

I thought that with all the "festivities" going on right now, it would be a fun thing to do...remember the movie quotes that bring a tear to your eye, laughter from way down inside and enough humor to cause you to check your underwear for spotting...

In other words...

Let's see if we can come up with the funniest-meaningfullest (word?) quotes from our favor movies of the season...

And my choices are...

From the movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" . . .

Clark Griswold Jr., pronouncing his Christmas gift wish for his family while downing some eggnog from the now-famous moose-mug, following the opening of his "bonus check" which turned out to be a year-long "Jelly of the Month Club" membership...

"Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, d!c-less, hopeless, heartless, fat-a55, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shi+ he is! Hallelujah! Holy shi+! Where's the Tylenol?"

.

Clark Griswold Jr., following the Christmas-tree "re-treeing" where everyone is getting ready to walk out the door 'cause, they believe, Clark's "lost it"...

"Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f*cking Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white a55 down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of a55holes this side of the nuthouse."

.

Hey everyone! Have a HapHapHappy Holiday and remember those that are less fortunate than you at this time of the year!

Santa: First off, you see gum on the street, leave it there. It isn't free candy. Second, there are, like, thirty Ray's Pizzas. They all claim to be the original. But the real one's on 11th. And if you see a sign that says "Peep Show", that doesn't mean that they're letting you look at the new toys before Christmas.

Full Metal Jacket (1987) - Memorable quotes

GSGT Hartman: Today... is Christmas! There will be a magic show at zero-nine-thirty! Chaplain Charlie will tell you about how the free world will conquer Communism with the aid of God and a few Marines! God has a hard-on for Marines because we kill everything we see! He plays His games, we play ours! To show our appreciation for so much power, we keep heaven packed with fresh souls! God was here before the Marine Corps! So you can give your heart to Jesus, but your ass belongs to the Corps! Do you ladies understand?

That's probably the cleanest thing that can be quoted from, "Bad Santa" -- and it's a Tony Cox ad-lib, too.

Maybe not here. I'd imagine they run it 25 hours a day there like Christmas Story.

mg, those two you posted are probably my two favorite quotes of The Season.
