That beautiful Cadillac is very much the same car I learned to drive on except that the one my Dad bought in 1941 was a regular sedan. I think the one pictured is a 1937, maybe a 1938. Ours was a 1936, but pretty much the same car, same gorgeous Dark Blue also. Car radios were expensive in 1941. The Cadillac/Chevrolet Dealer in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. wanted $650.00 plus Dad's very nice 32 Chevrolet Confederate Tudor. So they made the deal by removing the radio and selling it for $450.00 and trade. The car had less then 10,000 miles on it.
