If I were a cop I would be writing that guy a ticket so fast it would make your head spin. Besides, he should know Porsche parking is about 2/3 of the way out in the parking lot with the other nice cars (also where the 300D gets parked most of the time).

Related question: Am I a douche for parking my motorcycle on the sidewalk sometimes?

Motorcycle-No unless yer blocking handicapped/porsche access....

I routinely park the SD out in the hinterlands of any large shopping location...

Seen this in court once. Guy even took pictures to dispute the case. Judge looked at his pic and said "You ARE over the line, are you not?". He said "Yes but by no more than 4 inches.". Judge said "4 inches too many". Ended up being found guilty with no break.

Very nice, just missing a NJ or NY plate.

I did this once with my S class but I pulled across 3 handicap spots.

If it were my parking lot...I'd have him towed.

Its a staged photo anyway, the car doesn't have plates.

In CT that car would be a cops end of the month wet dream. No plates, double parked in a handicap spot, and if the owner couldn't provide proof of current insurance he wouldn't be able to dream of driving that car away.

Chances of it being towed and impounded with a nice fine would be about 99.9%.

Chances of the lot jockey's screwing with it, and beating it up a bit would be 100%.

Wow. Talk about self-absorbed cretins.

the fine for doing that in San Francisco is $985.00

I bet if there was a tennis racquet on the front seat, that car might come out of it with a few long key scratches down its flank(s). ... Just imagine THAT.... That's for hogging up TWO spaces; hogging 2 handicapped spaces if you are not handicapped -- that is BEGGING for retaliatory vandalism on your precious Corvette or Porsche, that you think means so much more than handicapped folks' access to parking..

Hattie, the car has "no plates" because it's still new; appears it is still wearing a original selling dealer insert while waiting for the new plates to get mailed to the new owner or lessee..

Question. What would the reaction be if it was some guy in a "Plain Jane" car that just didn't give a crap and pulled in because it was convenient?

Slightly less, but basically a citation either way.

Now , Now, lets not jump to conclusions. I am sure the driver of the vehicle has a plausable explanation,as to why he/she parked like that.
