Is the C-class really garbage??

Okay, so my Dad is firmly convinced that the C-class is Mercedes-Benz POS car

. Is that really true?? He wont buy one, much less the C63 AMG, for a whopping $80,000. Anybody have anything good to say about the C-class, or am I on my own here??
