He was my friends neighbor in Venice Beach, if we were lucky we would hear him play. Never saw him in a Ferrari; he drove a hot rod and a G wagon.

Two years to build and almost 5 million. Really?
It's a Ferrari. |

That's a big step up from Eric's 190E 2.3-16. There's a video of him meeting George Harrison in a studio.

Clapton has not been known to have a "show-off" personality. Who knows what's really behind it. Affordability is likely out of question.
It somehow doesn't match his commonly available image. Items like this might well be predestined auction items. Money makes the world go 'round.

Generally speaking, those are investment items. With high profile celebrity names attached to it, it's sure to make gain down the road. Clapton is not a Motley Crue punk who's gonna wreck it a couple of days later. Now that he's older the Ferrari is probably more suitable. Again, he was never notable for being a show-off personality. Rather the opposite. I said it before, affordability is likely not in question. If it wasn't for a video stalker, it would have never been public. Me personally, I am thrilled with what I have, not with what I don't have.
