They did, Korea was a colony and not treated all to well.

This is nothing but a ploy because dear leader JR needs to show his party comrades he has balls and get get something out of the west.

NK is broke and unable to mount any serious military operation.

Someone, looks like maybe Japan needs to call their bluff, blow it out of the sky, and not reward this crap with UN food donations.

Peoples Republic of China (i.e. Communist China or Red China) started in 1949. Prior to that it was just called The Republic of China. In other words, China was not communist at the time of WW2.

I was going to say that I doubted it would even fly.

I saw aerial photos of it yesterday and it looked like there were weeds growing on the launch pad concrete.

as Hattie said, relatively meaningless blustering.

I cannot imagine what is keeping the country together.

The same stuff that was keeping the rocket together... duct tape and bailing wire.

This was about as impressive as their last launch.

I think it's time to start sending in the humanitarian aid, overseen by UN troops. Lets get the general populace to realize just how bad they have it under Kim Jong Un.
Would be a great place to test drive grass roots diplomacy.

I know that if I had the ability to destroy a rocket from space, I would be very quiet about.
