Nice taste in VWs

That is exactly the body and color I would even consider. Congrats on the nice car.

I've seen someone with a red wagon locally. I stt it and cant help but hum the theme from Attach of the Killer Tomotoes.

Very nice.

We looked at Jetta TDI wagons when the first came out, but my wife and I both felt that it had sort of a narrow, confined feel to it. The body style has changed since then, and the current Jetta my co-worker has does not feel that way.

I like having a wagon. We currently have a C-Class wagon, which is doing nicely.

Enjoy it

That's why I let my wife ride with me.

Day before yesterday i went to the VW dealer and drove a new Passat and a CC.

WOW! Cool cars and quiet fast and modern too. The CC especially looks super slick. I see those ALL over LA.

I liked them a LOT, but not quite enough to get rid of my old E 420 and the AMG coupe and into one of them.

I suspect that neither of them would outlast the Mercedes Benzes of mine though, which I fanatically maintain.

And considering depreciation, interest on a loan and so on, with a new car, in terms of COST PER MILE, which is the true gauge of the cost of auto ownership, I am probably going to be ok with those old Mercedes Benzes, each of which fits me like an comfortable, well broken in and really comfortable old shoe.
