Great eBay Motors Listing

Talk about full disclosure!

1975 International 200 3/4 Ton 4x4 Pickup

And a malady us IH fans are fully aware of.

Great ad. I've seen worse than what the pictures show... but pictures can be deceiving... unlike the seller

There's worse LOOKING pickups on the road around here.

Pity if it really is that gone.

The writing style of this ad leads me to believe that the actual owner of this vehicle is Jeremy Clarkson.

Yeah, there's not much room for the "But you didn't tell me about X" backing out of the deal!

Heck, I've owned & driven far worse looking trucks!

In the video there is a lot of daylight visible from underneath, including access to the rubber floormat from outside the truck.

I had the same truck, but a 1974. It drank gas like it was free from a 16 gallon tank. This was during the first gas crisis, so 16 gallons at 7.5 MPG didn't go too far. The seller is correct, they rusted like crazy. It was, however, a couple of years ahead of the competition with a full synchro transmission and fron disc brakes. It drove very well, but was not a power house, even with 4.10 gears. I'm curious to see what this sells for.

I repowered mine with a 3-53 and a 5-speed Clark OD transmission and sold it for almost $3000 more than I paid for it when it was new. 1975 was the last year for IH, as their trucks took a big price jump that year, making them about 20% more $ than a Ford or Chevy.

I had a Scout of that vintage. It was ugly, it was crudely built, and it sucked up gas like a Demokrat congress sucks up tax dollars, but, in 4wd, that thing could drive up the side of a building.

There must be some website somewhere that collects classic Ebay descriptions. This one is a definite gem. My old 4x4 Travelall had the same issue with the twin tank valve. The passenger side tank magically made it's own fuel by sucking it out of the main tank. The valve seeped gas, never enough to drip, for years. Probably still does. The truck is still on the road in Ks. City, pulling around a giant barbecue smoker. Mine was a 392. Fabulous engine. Indestructible. Mopar 727 (?) automatic, also bombproof. I'd buy another if I could find one in a heartbeat.
