Mulching

Hello OD,
I have decided to spruce up The Farm quite a bit with copious se of mulch over what previously was bare gravel. It's backbreaking work made easier by my New Holland. I'm working on it with my buddy Dave, and we're nowhere near done. I work my voodoo with the Tractor and it's massively useful bucket, then Dave and I set to work spreading it out. America needs more Farmers.

While it looks nice, every time I've had mulch anywhere against or near my house, termites become a problem. I'd rather have limestone gravel or lava rock for the landscape work.

We seem to have termites under control with a treatment system from a local pest control place.

I have chickens and horses and a wicked garden. I'm a vegetarian ('cept fish and chips, or occasional meat I trust) so me vegetable garden feeds me. I only fertilize the garden with the chicken manure, and it's amazing. No chemical anything involved, just good wholesome produce. **** you Monsanto!!

Careful what you wish for.... I bought a skidsteer a number of years ago so I could flatten my backyard into a nice lawn for the kids. Now, I have more lawn than I ever wanted, and numerous other projects that all started with tearing into something new with the machine now that all of it's 'legitimate' projects have been accomplished.

Does make me a favorite around the neighborhood though.... I have done one thing or another for over half the folks in our small enclave.
Will work with machine for diesel and beer... more beer than diesel

See, I don't have a farm, so I am forced to print some of the threads from OD and shred them. It's a nice blend of horse ****, bull **** and chicken ****
