Alright, due to popular demand, i've reposted this image. Dunno what happened to the old one. Try not to take too many pot shots on bimmers - I posted MB's stab at BMW before - let's just say, "you guys started it!" We all know the 7's ugly and completely insults and assaults the visual intellegence of all bimmerphiles, but the 3,5 and the old E24 6 (e.g. my baby) still have seriously redeeming qualities!!!

BTW, the ad translates to: "A Mercedes can also bring driving pleasure."

i would like to know the circumstances surrounding mr. xing's statement that "you started it". a member from this forum went over to some Bimmer board and posted stuff? hardly what i would expect from m'shop members

The MB ad that "started it" was a newspaper ad for the Vancouver, BC -area Mercedes dealerships, correct?

I'd think that it would have been a rebuttal to THIS, an ad that seems clearly pulled from, say, a nationally-read magazine or other publication...
