IMO: Mcdonalds french fries taste like crap

I can only base this on recent experience - travel in eighteen states.

IMO: Since Mcdonalds changed the fry oil, their french fries taste like crap.
The few times I have sampled them since the change, it has made me puke.
Even the smallest sample leaves a day long after taste like 80 - 90 gear lube.

IMO the coffee is toxic waste, smells BURNT and is not safe for human consumption.

IMO The nuggets contain more gristle, fat, and breading than meat, I stopped getting them because of bone fragments in the last year.

They have finally run me off as a customer.

IMO The cost of a meal is priced higher at Mcdonalds with bad food, and worse service, than the local Mom and Pop restaurants.

Thankfully my local Mom and Pop restaurants make french fries the 1950's - 1960's way, and they taste great.

I realize Mcdonalds is a global mega corp.
If anyone from Mcdonalds corp reads this and cares, feel free to call me.

My taste buds and wallet go elsewhere, until they have IMO edible food again.

Why don't we hear about this in the media???

I prefer Hardees if I have a choice.

You are a very slow learner.

I was run off at about 30 years of age when I realized that the "beef" might kill me.

Wasn't aware of the french fry adjustment............WTF did they do that for?

This is fast 'food' not Texas de Brazil. I do not understand why people go to fast 'food' places to eat in the first place.

I used to work at McDonald's in the mid 1990's. At the time I thought most of the food was pretty good. Now it mostly tastes like plastic to me. If I get fast food now it's usually In N Out (because it's actually good) or Jack in the Box (because it's the only thing open and I don't feel like cooking).

Fortunately, I have my choice of greasy spoons and diners that are open late in my neighborhood. All within closer walking distance than Mickey Dee's.

Roy played into McD's plot. I haven't been there in ages but Roy's claim makes we want to check for myself. It started with a staged bad batch of fries. Or Roy was part of a double blind taste test

So now they're using rapeseed oil with who-knows-what-else mixed in. Was there something wrong with beef tallow? Seriously, it's fast food. No one thinks it's healthy, so you may as well make it taste good.

The rule is artificial trans fats, of which beef tallow, lard, and my personal favorite bacon grease are free.

Now you're talking!! Something that is pork patty shaped, covered in BBQ sauce, and served with onions and pickles on a bun.

Sadly...I won't be grabbing one this year when they come back out. I've got to get rid of this weight!

Oh...and the best French Fries come from Rally's. Seasoned and fried to perfection. Close second are Curly Fries from Arby's...best dipped in Horsey Sauce
