Turtle with poop on it
Came up on something interesting today or at least the dogs did. It was a gopher turtle (no telling how old it is) that was turned upside down with a turd on it. It looked like whatever had done it had been eating blueberries. I turned the turtle over and it went on it's way. I did not get a picture of it.
I'm thinking it was probably a coyote that did it. The dogs were pretty agitated last night (full moon) starting at around 3 am and this area would have been within earshot of the dogs. Next time you think you are having a hard day consider the gopher turtle laying on it's back all day on a hot August day with a fresh turd sitting on it. This is a true story.

Just think - if you'd left the turtle like that overnight, next morning the turtle could have looked up at that same turd still sitting on him, and been well justified in saying -
"Yep, same s###, different day". And people often complain about getting the "mushroom treatment" - at least a mushroom is in the shade.

 Actually a previous poster probablyo hit the nail on the head. The coyote turned it over, waiting for it to die, claiming it with poop. Turtle ala Poop
