2(?). Yes I listened to it (a few times actually, looking for that quote), sounds like he's campaigning pretty hard. I don't see where he implies "the day he is inaugurated, muslim hostility will ease", much less imply that muslims will absolutely love us as indicated in the OP. If anything, he is saying that he actually knows what a muslim-led country is like politically and he can identify the differences--which would (theoretically) work to an advantage over the experience of McCain. Btw I don't like Obama. I just think you're grasping for straws here and calling it as I see it.

At the time of his election, such statements play well with the public that was tired of the unnecessary wars perpetrated by the Repos.

Consider the possibility that his statements were simply good sound bytes.

His administration has responded with significant force............much more than his predecessor............to target and eradicate any potential threat, no matter what the civilian consequences. I suspect that the drone strikes are incessant.

The thing about the drone strikes is somewhat sinister. Nobody knows when they take place, how many people are taken out, or the result. The MSM is not privy to any of it.

This President might say one thing to placate the electorate, but you are mistaken if you think he actually believes that BS.
