1. Yank it out with a pair of pliers, so I can say that I am the Manliest of Manly Men?

or

2. Go to the dentist.

Well, if you pull the tooth out w/o antibiotics of a specific type, the germs on the root of the nerve will migrate to the valves on your heart, attack them and kill you.

used to happen all the time 50 years ago.

This is why they give people massive doses of antibitotics before during and after a root canal

I've had plenty of RCT and have never had antibiotics before, during, or after. The last one I had done was done by a specialist, it was the "one hour root canal". The tooth was ready for a crown in one visit. He subsequently became a dentist for the stars in NYC.

NOT getting RCT when you need it will get you the antibiotics.
