Steve Jobs yacht

At the end of the video it's visible how long this yacht really is. From the front it looks bulky, at least in the video, but from the side it's very elegant and slim. Like it, interesting design.

Yuuck!

Looks like someone commissioned the Bauhaus School to design the Superstructure.

AND

Hull design was sloughed off to a totally Deslexic
Marine Architect (Whose dyslexia is only being able to see straight lines),
who was shown pictures of Admiral Perry's Great White Fleet.

Looks like someone tried to weld an early 20th century railway station on top of a late 19th century ironclad.

IOW, fugly.

Teddy Roosevelt's Great White Fleet sails again.

Better tell Steve to stick with computers.

What a stupid looking boat - it looks like most of the silly silly yuppie homes you see all huddled together around the litter and dog **** in Flevoland.

At least there is no sour grapes on here.

It's his money, he can spend it however he wants and can do whatever he wants with it, if it amuses him he can personally flush a million dollars cash down his toilet in the guest bedroom, of one of his mansions, I don't care.

There's a Saudi prince that bought a new cell phone and a new Mercedes Benz SL a while back and had both of them completely encrusted with large diamonds. Wealth that is seemingly endless and incomprehensibly obscenetve does not immunize totally anyone from florid, grand, wasteful and over-the-top expressionsof tastelessness or extreme vulgarity.

I read recently that there are American tourists that like to go over into the Mexican border towns such as into Tijuana and they like to bring loosely tied rubber banded stacks of one dollar bills and go stand at the corner of large, busy intersections and toss the stacks into fast moving auto, bus and truck traffic and then stand and watch the poor and desparate Mexican children and adults dash into moving traffic to try and pick some of the loose and flying cash up....

Wow, not a fan of the design at all. Looks like a floating warehouse. They estimate Venus at 230-260 ft.

Just for reference, there's now a 590' commissioned by someone in the Middle East surpassing Roman Abramovich's 550' for the largest in the world (seen below).

Personally. I'm a sucker for varnish and paint on a yacht. Even better when you can pay the yard to maintain it.

I'd buy this yacht, but I'm afraid they'll release a better and faster one in 8 months.

Or more likely, someone else already did and it's 75% of the cost.

Indeed. Unless there's one hell of an active stabilization system on that thing, it's going to roll and handle like a a pig, in any type of weather or a seaway, other than a flat calm.

Harbor queen.

I'm sure it has a stabilisation system; the brain of the ship is operated by multiple 27" iMac's, you don't want to crash those.

Years ago I worked on a Dutch Navy ship for a photo shoot, the ship was equipped with stabilisation; it was unbelievable how balanced it stayed on the North Sea.

I like it. It is different than every other ship in the harbor.

Looks like they forgot to put the bow on her. Wonder how she's going to handle any kind of sea?

Office building designer builds ship with the african queen as its principal design prop.Im going to say you cant open this ship up in any kind of weather ,a sliding glass door reminds me of Wal mart doors ,the main deck getting washed with this design will put a rinse cycle in the main lobby.Horrible design both sea worthy sense and pleasing to the eye sense.
