Cool!
You'll literally leave a trail of money in your wake. Those casings are worth about half a buck apiece.

I broached the subject of having the Mrs buy me a subframe kit for the Studebaker last evening but she said no dice.

Apparently she already has my gift!

Naturally, she plans ahead!

Already got my Christmas present in hand.

Airtex 7181 Dodge Cummins fuel tank module, with in-tank lift pump.

Going into the fuel tank on the Jeep Liberty diesel, soon as I get the time to drop the tank on it. Finally have something resembling a "proper" fuel system on the beast.

The aftermarket external low pressure (8 psi) cetrifugal fuel pump I've been using up until now, will end up being transplanted underneath the 87 300D.

Amazon finally got these fuel modules back in stock the other week, for $120 new. CJD dealers want damn near $300 for one.

Tom,

May I interest you instead in a classic 1975 Kawasaki Z-1B:
9,000 original miles. Original Candy Blue paint in vgc. Original exhausts pipes (fair condition.) Lester mag wheels and period Goodyear raised letter tires. I have the title signed over by the original owner. Just serviced in August by an authorized dealer. This bike has not been registered with NJ DMV/MVC since 1983.

All I want for Christmas is more space in the garage.
