Those of you that post items for sale on CL,have you ever been flagged .Ive got some mad flagger going ape shirt on flagging my posts and I cant figure out why except for one thought,SOMEONE WITH THE SAME OR SIMILIAR ITEMS want to keep their items up and mine off. Any way this can be solved.

I have had my ads flagged and taken down twice. it is very frustrating since they do not tell you why.

I have two email accounts and two craiglist accounts so when it happens I post it in the other account. So far I have not had any of my second posts in this manner flagged.

I've flagged ads on Cl that do not match the category. Many dealers post cars in the "FS by owner" category and if you google their phone number you can find they have many many cars for sale and have sold many others. Sometimes the google shows the dealership... is you ad in the proper place?

No rhyme or reason; there are just mean people out there with nothing else to do but prove their existence. .... So they flag everything.
I think it takes more than one flag to get something removed.

If I am not mistaken you get two and on the third your ad is taken down. I've been flagged without reason in the past. I just repost. One ad I posted was half jokingly offering to trade pen and poultry house cleanings for beer. A pickup or trailer load of awesome garden mulch for a 4 pack of Guinness Foreign Extra, no substitutions, load with your own tools. I got a lot of action and a lot of beer but some pucker-as$ took offense, they even emailed me before the ad was taken down with a lecture.
