Nice ride. The last Kawasaki I had was a 1989 454LTD, which was renamed the Vulcan in 1991, I think. You should get many miles out of it...

The last major ride I went on was on a Big Dog Custom I had. I put over 2200 miles ver a 5 day span. Worst ride I ever went on...that bike wasn't made to be ridden like that.

I used to use my Kawasaki for daily riding when I had it. It got me to and form school, work, and parties back in those days. I went on a ride from Ohio to Miami, FL and back twice in a year. For the time, it was a perfect bike for me.

A few years ago, my wife and I seriously considered getting a pair of Vulcans...I wanted a 1600 and she was looking at a 900. Both were trimmed out the same, and in the same colors. Life got in the way of buying them. I'm sure we would have had a great time with them.

Not my preferred style of bike, but since you like it, ride and enjoy. Since it's a Kawasaki, it should be quite reliable and easy to maintain.
