Again, you speak with no knowledge of the state and it's history.

Nothing is entirely black and white or red and blue.

There is a long history of political conservatism in Colorado.

Don't blame the people because they refuse to vote for the same old republican song and dance.
As soon as the republican party gets off their collective ass and puts together real initiatives and sheds the voice of the fringes, then Colorado will likely swing back.

Vermont and Colorado are similar. Socially liberal in some ways, but also very independent-minded. (Vermont had unrestricted carry long before Arizona enacted the same - they just don't flaunt it as much.)

Where does Bernie Sanders represent?

Oh yeah, Vermont.

He's a registered independent who always caucuses with the Democrats.

Yeah, there's independence for yuh.

Because the present Repug party is a bunch of raving lunatics, sorry to say. Look at their state and local politics before you judge the state based on one man's affiliation of convenience.

And a self described socialist that voted against the Brady Bill.

Seems like a great example of what spdrun was getting at.

Hey, I ain't gonna argue with your characterization of Republicans.

But to claim independence is exemplified by alliance with the major opposing party is a distinction without a difference.

Wow, that's huge. HUGE! OMG, Brady fickin' Bill. What more could one ask for?

I mean, who cares if he votes with the Democrats 98% of the time (A socialist in the Senate?). I mean Brady Bill! Whoa.

So far the only distinguishing feature of that fair state, advanced as evidence of independence, is a senator who votes with one major party 98% of the time.

What else have you got? Or are you just talking between your cheeks?

So... any evidence whether or not these NY state boycotting companies have actually got contracts with NY state, or is their threat just hot air?

Barrett just signed up as well.

LaRue, Spikes, and York all did or do business with NY state and have shot themselves in the financial foot in that state.

York makes suppressors and canceled orders.

Maybe I'm not asking correctly...

These companies who are not going to sell to NY State Law Enforcement....
How much did they sell to them last year?

Other than to determine whether these companies are putting any actual pressure on the state or their move is just for cheap publicity, what difference does it make how much they sold?
