Now get off my case.
Gas was your word.

It's now your fault when he fills the tank with gas.

May be a tu quoque all day long, but that does not alter the fact that you used the word gas, then suggested that BC was off base when he followed suit.

Possibly you should examine why you are so familiar with tu quoque arguments....
Regardless of the 'logic', repeatedly being in a position of arguing a point that one does not uphold makes one look like a moron...
That's common sense, whether it is logical or not.

So.... why did you purposely use the word gas?
Wherein lies the logic of being deliberately in error?

BTW...feel free to put as much gas in your diesel as you like, but I would wait until after dark during a snowstorm.

But I'm sure you know better than I concerning my finances.

When you ran out of "gas" on the side of the road, you called for roadside assistance. You clearly stated that you could not afford $5.00 of "gas" prior to heading home.

How could you possibly pay for the roadside assistance if you were penniless?

I believe he implied that he had road side assistance via MB and his insurance.

MB charges for that service now for these vehicles.............

http://www.mercedesroadside.com/roadside-assistance/side-nav/eligibility-and-coverage

You can bet that he doesn't qualify for "free" roadside assistance. He's too cheap to buy $5.00 worth of "gas"............he certainly didn't purchase the vehicle from an M/B dealer.........doesn't get it serviced at an M/B dealer..........and it most definitely is out of warranty.

So, I conclude that he had to PAY for that service with money that he claims not to have.

I think he mentioned he schedules needed maintenance to keep his vehicle covered by the MB roadside assistance...

oh, and information for anybody reading this, it's pretty important to keep a vehicle as close to full as possible, to prevent moisture from collecting in the tank and fouling the filter/or the injectors...
