Mazda 5?

Today we discovered the Mazda 5 minivan. this is a very small minivan which has great headroom and third row seating. We like the way it drives very much. The dealer has the deluxe verson 2012 on sale for 22K. We might go for it.

Anybody have one of these?

I think Mazda's are magnificent cars. We had a '94 Mazda Protege that was 100% drop dead reliable.

We have friends that have a Mazda 5, and love it.

It feels a lot better than our Fit. The steering on the highway in a heavy wind this morning was supurb.

We're going to buy the new Mazda. We'll have the 8500 mile Fit for sale. Red with grey interior including the Katzkins seat covers and Michelin tires.

The Mrs. was taken in by the red exterior, light leather interior and the red highlight piping on the seats. I must admit I was pretty excited by the red piping myself.

They're nice cares.

The Mazda 5 sits in a class of its own in my opinion. It's a small minivan that is not masquerading as a small SUV, like other 4 door cars with a hatchback.

Furthermore, Mazda's are regarded as having sporty handling and ride characteristics. They are generally very well regarded by the automotive press.

I am impressed by it. Dare I say its ride reminded me of the all of one large piece feel of a MB. It turns pretty well too for what it is. 21/28 mpg. Not too much less than the tinny cheap feeling Fit.

Here's a good review of the Honda Fit vs. the Mazda 5.

I think it's clear the Mazda 5 is the superior vehicle. It's simply in a different class.

around 16K. it has Michelin tires. We'll listen to any reasonable offer.

The tires on the mazda 5 are low profile, 50 series, and u will learn to avoid potholes or you're going to be replacing tires.

Ridiculus....but its hard to find tires that have decent sidewalls on the newer tires. I'll have to warn the Mrs.
